Ha! I found something to tell you about today!
While at lunch yesterday (at Jimmy Johns because we are eating there at least once a week to make sure they don't go out of business) C and I were talking shop. In this case, "shop" happened to be my job hunt (I've sent out resumes to TWO places!).
Here's a snip it of the conversation as we were pulling out of the parking lot.
C: "If you do get an interview for this job what..."
Me: "...Will I wear! I'll have to figure that out." (While secretly hoping he says, "You should go buy a suit or something nice to impress them with.")
C: "No, what I was going to say is, what would you ask in terms of a salary."
Me: "Oh." (And then I proceeded to give a low ball figure, one C thought was a bit too low.)
And that friends, is what 99% of our conversations are like.
Happy Friday! I'm off to watch Hallmark Christmas Movies (and the Monkey, of course).
