Two Months

I wrote this eons ago (last week) and still haven't gotten around to uploading the pictures I took with the good camera. So instead of putting off the post for a few more days weeks, I thought I'd just post the picture I took on my phone and hope that one day I update this post with the pictures form the real camera. (ha! yeah. right.)

It's hard to believe we've had our little Monkey for TWO whole months. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home, but at the same time it feels like we've have her forever (and that we haven't slept in forever).

Monkey had her two month check up (and shots) last week.  She was a trooper (except for when she wasn't).

Here are her deets...

10 pounds, 5 ounces (50%)
22.5 inches (50% - not sure about this)
Head Circumference: 16 inches

We're now officially in 0-3 months clothes (although there are still some very big newborns that fit her). Seriously clothing makers, get your sizes on the same page.

Monkey's definitely becoming her own little person. She's very vocal (in a good way!) and loves to talk to us and her friends (the play mat that lights up, video coming soon.).

She's also getting to the point where she wants to see what's going and and doesn't like to be held against your chest.  We've found she's a big fan of football and not too happy that the Indians are doing beyond horribly this year (as referenced by the picture below).
Monkey loves to have her hands near her face.

As for her eating habits, we're still working on those.  Monkey is such an easy baby that we have to remind her to eat. She usually will nurse for 20 minutes and then take 2-3 ounces from a bottle.  She's what we like to call a lazy eater and would rather be doing something fun than eat (she doesn't even wake us up crying at night, just sucking loudly on her hands).

And that hair. I just don't know what to do with it (and quite frankly don't spend any time trying to tame it).  Monday she decided to channel Conan O'Brien.
