I'm almost done with my twenties.

Friday marked the last day of my last entire month of being twenty.

We spent the evening like any other decent evening this summer...at the pool.  I should note we've only had a handful of decent evenings this summer and they've all been these last two weeks. So we packed up our bags, picked up a pizza, and enjoyed having the pool to ourselves. We're still working on Monkey's tolerance of the big pool (she loves the steps, but that's it). I know she'll come around on vacation as the steps there are teeny tiny. Oh, and GMac is a water bug.  Loves it. Will constantly put his mouth in the water and has a grin plastered across his face.

After the kiddos were down for the night we finished off a bottle of wine while watching An Idiot Abroad. We classy.

Saturday morning we woke up and enjoyed Starbucks before shipping Monkey off to Emmy's house for a sleepover.  Monkey asked about 30 minutes before Emmy's arrival if we could all go outside and wait for Emmy because out of Mommy, Daddy, GMac, and Emmy, Emmy is her favorite.

C and GMac loaded up and went to the library while I went to Krogers, TJ Maxx, and Giant Eagle for picnic supplies and Mrs. Meyers cleaning stuff (on sale at TJ Maxx). It had been a while since I was able to leisurely go through a store by myself and boy was it lovely.  Even if it was just TJ Maxx, I still got to look at bath mats and napkin holders without interruption.

I spent the afternoon at the pool reading Jen Lancaster's latest (I wasn't going to read this one but heard it was  a lot like her earlier books...it is...and I'm rather enjoying it) while C and GMac bonded over The Matrix.

We went to the Lancaster Festival Saturday evening. While it wasn't the best show we've seen, we did enjoy ourselves and saw the International Space Station! We dined on Giant Eagle's chicken salad (its replaced FMC's as my favorite...just add grapes), cheese cake, and wine. We fancy.

Sunday morning we woke up hurting.  We're just too old to be sitting on the rocky hill watching a (most likely drunk) guy play the harmonica.

We church and had leftover pizza and mac and cheese (be jealous) before picking up the house. I also went back to the pool, but forgot my book, but did find a British Glamour in my pool bag so all was well with the world.

Monkey returned from her sleepover and Grandma, Grandpa, and Mark came over for dinner.

After Monkey was down we saw the International Space Station (again) and watched an episode of An Idiot Abroad before turning in for the night.

And GMac was up and ready to go at 2:40 this morning. Ah, the life of a parent.
