Monkey has her own "magazines." These are the Fisher Price and American Girl catalogs. They are kept with her books. She'll pull them out and say, "I'm going to look at my magazine."
Then she'll start pointing at different things she wants and says "I want that for Christmas."
Her go to item is the Little People City Skyway.
A few days ago she sat down to look at her magazine, but this time said, "I need that." Instead of me giving my "you have a lot of nice toys and need to be grateful for what you have" spiel, I replied with, you'll have to put it on your Christmas list.
To which she replied, "I'll ask Santa and Jesus."
