They sent me an offer I couldn't refuse.

As of three days from now, I'll be a people subscriber again.  I feel back into the trap.  But a 20 issues for $20 trap is one you just can't avoid.  So I'm back.  Maybe this time, again, they'll continue to send issues months after my subscription up.

Last night I googled "how to cook toaster strudels".  Apparently I am not the only one.  Aside from my primary problem of still enjoying children's breakfast foods, I also have problems getting them to cook through without burning the outside.  I think I need to thaw them first.

It's supposed to rain tomorrow (but now it won't because I just jinxed us).  We could really use the rain.  I'm planning a jammie day with Monkey (she never wants to put regular clothes on anyway). I'm also planning, shhhhhh..., for us to watch Frozen.

Here's our list of things to do this weekend: go to a pumpkin patch/apple orchard, get flu shots, go out for Emily's birthday, get the guest room office house ready for Nama Elsea, watch the Cardinals (they're in the playoffs...when aren't they).

For the first time in forever I have real t.v. shows that I watch DVR during the week: Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, and Scandal (ordered from least favorite to favorite).  I still have my regulars too: The Kitchen, Chopped, Cutthroat Kitchen, The Pioneer Woman.

For all of my Sophie Kinsella readers out there (read: "anyone under the ager of 21 who reads this and Emily")  her new Shopaholic book comes out October 21st.  I still have a bad taste in my mouth after the movie, but am looking forward to the book none-the-less.

I've got the traveling, house organizing, house redecorating, and house buying itches. I blame it partially on the baby and partially on the cooler weather. Yesterday I organized the tupperware and put Monkey's cars in an empty wipie container (great for storage).  It may not be much, but it's something.

And finally, a picutre of Monkey. She has recently discovered her play food and loves to cut her bread. Once she's finished with the loaf she'll ask "one more time?" as she doesn't know the word "again".
