Monday Funday (not really)

Mondays are never fun. Unless Christmas falls on a Monday. Then it is fun.

Here's what's been going on in our lives recently.

1. Monkey rolled over for the first time! It was at 12:00 in the morning after she woke up to eat (and didn't feel like going back to sleep right away - and no she didn't have her pajamas on yet).  C and Grandma E were fast asleep so I was the only one who witnessed it.  Doesn't she look proud of herself?

She looks like a little french baby. Just needs a red bow.

2. I am ready for this election cycle (Silly Season as C has come to call it) to be over.  You can't watch t.v. without seeing political ads. I don't think people living outside of Ohio fully understand how crazy it is.  When I say every single commercial is a political ad, I mean it. Every.Single.Commercial.

3. Grandma E has been here the last week.  Monkey has loved spending time with her and can't wait for her and Grandpa to come back at Christmas!

4. Speaking of Christmas, I am super excited. I've got lists going to C and Monkey (as well as myself). That being said, there will be no decorations or music until December.

5. I'm addicted to my nook.  Now that we're getting into more of a baby routine I'm able to read it more.  So far I've read a handful of British chick-lit, but nothing else. I like to think of it as my portal to the British world.

6. It doesn't shock me one  bit that Anna Faris has a camo baby seat

With that I send you off to one last evening full of political ads.
