To go or not to go

Something's been bugging me the last few weekends.

It's really not that big of a deal. In fact, C keeps telling me not to beat myself up over it. That it isn't that big of a deal.

But it is a BIG deal.

We're not talking about whether or not to cloth diaper (already made up our minds on that one, quite quickly too) or what our birth plan is (every drug under the sun, another quick decision) or to nurse or bottle feed (already purchased the $$$$ pump).

We're talking about dinner and a shopping trip.

You see, I want to go to Easton, my Disney World of the Midwest, one more time before Mister Fartlepants is born.

The problem:  I can't seem to walk around more than 30 minutes without needing a break and having to pee (I realize there are plenty of restrooms at Easton, and I know every location, so it's really the getting tired part).

I go through bouts of "I really want to go" followed by bouts of "but I really don't want to wear myself out to the point were I don't enjoy myself" follow by "Oh, but I really do want to go!"

If we go up there I want to 95% enjoy myself. I want to enjoy walking around the stores, not needing to stop at every other park bench (ok, I'm not really that out of shape, but you get the point).

So maybe we should wait a few weeks. Bring Mister Fartlepants into this world and then take him or her to the Disney World of the Midwest and soak in his or her first time there.

So that's what I've been grappling with the last few weeks. Heavy stuff, huh?

Would you be ok with shopping in a wheelchair? Cause you could get one of those Rascal things and then you wouldn't have to walk. You could just push people out of the way.

I wish I could come shopping with you!
