Weekend Rewind

I AM ALIVE!

Tired and 95% sure that I have another cold, but ALIVE!

Sorry for going dark on ya for a few days, but all's well on the home front.  All's just super busy.  And this week doesn't look like it's going to slow down any. But I'll try my best to post every day.

For now, let's discuss our stellar weekend with some stellar folks.

Friday evening, C's sister, mom, and nephews all arrived to spend the weekend with us.  We had some yummy (if I do say so myself) beef and noodles with mashed potatoes and enjoyed catching up and spending much needed time with the nephews.

Saturday we headed to Easton for some retail therapy.  I got yet another case for my iPhone (not too happy with the people at Speck) which was picked out by Sam, who has great (and expensive) tastes for a 6 month old.  We also spent some time at Barnes and Noble as well as some other places I can't really remember.  Oh, and for lunch... Five Guys Burgers and Fries! In the evening we enjoyed pizza and to be quite honest, I'm not sure what else we did aside from playing with Paul and Sam.  I think we may have watched Cars, the favorite movie of our favorite first born nephew.

After church on Sunday we headed to McDonald's before going for a drive and stopping at some open houses.  I then slaved over a homemade Sarah Lee pumpkin pie and also managed to make some dinner.

C had to work on Monday (I was able to take off) so the girls and little guys did some shopping and talking and playing.

I know it doesn't seem like much, but we were 100% content with sitting around the house playing cars with Paul and making funny faces and Same.  And so that's what we did.  We had some great conversations with Mama E. and Emily (most of which were over my head) and can't wait for Thanksgiving when we will all be together again.
