Baked Spaghetti

Did you see that win last night? Did you??

Moving on...

I feel as though my blog as been lacking lately.  I sincerely apologize for that.

What has not been lacking are my recipes.  I seem to have a ton in the draft post bin.  Since I made this recipe the other day and remembered to take a pic, I can now share it with you.

I promise to come out of this funk next Wednesday.  Give or take a few days. Until then, enjoy some recipes and a possible guest blogger Fashion Friday tomorrow.

Baked Spaghetti

What you'll need:
1 pound spaghetti
1 jar of your favorite tomato sauce - I use Classico Traditional Sweet  Basil for this recipe
1 lb ground beef
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

What you'll do:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef.  Once brown, drain and add the jar of tomato sauce. Warm sauce/meat mixture over low heat.

Cook pasta according to al dente instructions.  Drain pasta and add it to the skillet of sauce and meat.

(If you're a multitasker, like me, it's best to do the pasta and meat prep at the same time).

Once well combined, pour into a greased 9x13 pan.  Sprinkle cheese over the pasta.

Baked for 30 minutes until heated through and cheese is all bubbly.  I sometimes cover the pasta with foil for the first 20 minutes to prevent the top from drying out.

Bake some garlic bread and enjoy!
