Goodbye, Summer. Hello, Fall Autumn.

Today marks the first day of Fall.  Did you know that leaves do not fall off of trees but instead are pushed off by some mechanism in the tree? That little ditty is courtesy of my cousin, James. He also said the season should be called "Autumn" instead of "Fall" since they leaves aren't technically falling. He's smart.

Now that we have vacationed (a little later than usual) I am ready to fully embrace Fall Autumn.
:: Football games.
:: That my purse matches the season. (Because it's orange)
:: My programming being back.
:: The occasional mocha with C.
:: Crisp air that allows us to sleep with the windows open.
:: Motorcycles being put away for the year (fingers crossed).
:: Breaking out my North Face jacket.
:: The fair.

While I may get a little sad that my days of pooling are behind me for the next 245 days I still have so much more to look forward to.
:: Thanksgiving.
:: A trip to DC to see/pick up Drew.
:: College basketball.
:: Christmas.
:: SNOW!! (I hope)
:: Baseball Spring Training and Opening Day.
:: Easter.
:: And much much more.

What are you looking forward to?
