it rocks, it rocks

Throughout the weeks I get these random thoughts and ideas that would be great posts, but just aren't long enough (in my opinion).  So instead of a one subject post (with 18 tangents) I'm going to list the "not long enough to be a post" thoughts I've been wanting to share with you.

1. There seems to be a little craze over the p90x program. I've (briefly) checked it out to see what the hype was about but it looked like way to much work and so I have decided to stick with my own "Go to the Y several a few times a week, do a not super hard workout,  and eat pretty healthy" program.  It seems to be working for me.

2. During our layover in Chicago, on our way home from Pipestone, I saw a girl with gorgeous wavy hair.  I'd like to be able to do that, but have the hair styling sense of a 3 year old (wait, that's an insult to 3 year olds).  Tuesday I saw this pointer and contemplated trying it but don't know where to find the products.  I briefly thought I could dry out my own shampoo but I don't think that's what they are talking about.

3. I was thisclose to being severely injured walking out of work yesterday.  As I stepped out from under the awning a turned to my left to see and hear a bicycle screeching to a halt just inches from me.  Stupid Boys apologized, but didn't bother to slow down when doing so.  I wonder if they hit me, who's insurance would have covered my multiple injuries.

4. I love TNT's decision to add Charles Barkley to their pool of basketball analysts.  I also love his Taco Bell commercial.  I'm ashamed to admit that I find this guy very funny.  C and I may have watched youtube clips of him for half an hour last night. Maybe.

5. I have yet to go to an Indians game this year.  When I do (hopefully) go I'm debating which opponent to see.  While it's always neat to see the Yankees or Red Sox, it's also much better to see the home team win.  I think I'll look at the series when the Royals and Orioles are in town.

6. Bill Simmons had a almost spot on (and humorous) recap of the Cavs "game" the other night.  At the very least it's a good laugh.

7. I think my bad fast food streak may have ended last night.  I'm going to give it a few more days though.  Then I'll tell you about it.
