here we go (again)

Now that the news is out and you have a better idea for why I haven't been blogging, let's chat.

We're due to welcome Peaches in late February 2018. Which means I won't be able to drink mochas until that point. I tried one today (after 46 days of being mocha free) and could not get past the first few sips.  So does that mean I've broken my streak or can my streak be in tact because I couldn't drink it? Also, I've been crazy tired, and drained, and yucky feeling of late. I blame it on GMac who is three times as active as Monkey was when I was pregnant with him.

Also, I may be getting a cold.

We watched Hidden Figures this weekend and I. LOVE. IT. I can't praise it enough.  If you haven't seen it, and chances are you all have, because I'm just so slow at getting around to stuff (in this case I was in the hold line at the library since Easter), please see it.  That was easy to follow, right?

And for the really big news.... Monkey made great swimming strides Wednesday.  This has been a banner year for her in terms of swimming, she's fully comfortable doing (almost) anything with her floaties on (everything but the diving board), but yesterday she decided she could swim without floaties. Watch out world! Or really, Mommy who now needs to keep a better eye on her at the pool.  Boundaries have been set (the flags), but it's only a matter of time before she's joining swim team.  Oh, and she discovered she could get dive rings off the bottom of the three feet.  We are so, so proud.
