It's a lot of pressure to think of a title for a blog post. There is no title for this post, just read the post. Sometimes titles are dumb.

I deactivated my facebook so I'm not sure how many people will read this, but if you're getting links form facebook and not twitter, you're 8 years behind the trend.  I know, I know, I'm one to talk because I just joined snapchat. In my defense, for the longest time I thought snapchat was only for teenagers who wanted to send inappropriate messages to each other because they know they'll disappear after a view/24 hours.  Which I get if you're not paying your cellphone bill and your mom is checking your texts because she pays the bill, but even then, wouldn't the kid be smart enough just to clear the text message conversations? I'm not endorsing this behavior, it just seems like a no brainer.

I was in the biggest post-vacation funk last week. I didn't even realize it until Saturday afternoon, when I was like, "Duh, RACHEL! You always have a post-vacation funk." It was made worse by the Indians losing, coming back to a blah work day (we all have them), and C turning around (literately less than 12 hours after we landed) to jet-set to DC for an Environmental Law Boot Camp. Not that I'd like to go to an Environmental Law Boot Camp because it sounds like a big snooze fest, but I could use that time to sleep. The good news is that the post-vacation funk is over and I'm back to just being upset that Daylight Savings Time is over.

Moving on, we're working on listing our house because it turns out 1,000 square feet is a bit tight for four people (especially when two of those people like to ride scooters and little tikes tractors through the living room). Wish us luck.

I'm working on getting back in to my old groove of biking (3 days in a row!) and reading every day for both my physical and mental health.  I'm pleased to announce that after 4 1/2 years I've started Let's Pretend This Never Happened.  Remember it? It's sooooo good. I'm going to have to interrupt it to read a book from the library that I can't renew, but I'll get back to it quickly.

While I'm working on reading and biking, I'm also working on my cooking.  I need some good reading suggestions, please!

Let's see if C really reads my blog: You know what other suggestions I need? A new purse.  C's going into trial prep tomorrow and we probably won't see him until the end of next week (like 14 days) so I'm going to be a lawyer widow (single mother seems inappropriate, because I feel wrong comparing it to that because I can't even imagine what you single moms do) and I feel like a new purse as a consolation. So please send me suggestions. Preferably by Friday evening.

I've got our Election Day snacks all planned out for tomorrow night. I'm pulling out all the stops: Giant Eagle's salsa fiesta dip, chips, Chateau St. Michele Harvest Select Riesling (this is the best wine to pair with the chip dip), and glass bottles of coke (caffeine for a possible late night).

That's all for today, folks. Come back tomorrow to read about how much I hate the end of Daylight Savings Time!
