This was supposed to be an update of sorts, but turned into a lot on LeBron and a little on chicken salad.

You guys.  This is a busy week.

Regular Work + Vacation Bible School + an Extra Work Event on Friday night = a pooped Rachel.

I was home at 8:20 last night. Had dinner and fell asleep on the couch by 9:10.

Let's start with Lebron:

Last week was pretty big with all of the LeBron news.  I know I took the departure a bit hard, but the thought of having a title in Cleveland is too much to pass up. Each evening at 8:00 I would turn on SportsCenter - because LeBron wasn't going to make his announcement when it wasn't prime time - ant watch until 11:00 p.m. I blame part of my obsession on the pregnancy hormones.

I felt deep in my soul that he was coming home.

Until Thursday.  Then I felt that he wasn't coming home because I believe anything that any of my Cleveland Sports News Tweeters tweet and someone said it was just rude and mean to make Cleveland wait for days on end and that because of that they thought LeBron was staying in Miami.  And so I thought it was staying in Miami.

Then on Friday I took Monkey to the pool.  We got there promptly at noon and by 12:20 p.m. - while I was in the pool catching a jumping Monkey - my phone was bombarded with texts.  He's coming home. Do you have any idea how hard it is to read all of the news while ensuring an almost 2 year old's safety at the pool?  I couldn't handle it.  A few hours later we were home and after Monkey was tucked in her bed for her afternoon nap, I was able to watch SportsCenter and read all I wanted to read.

In other news:

I used to have great Pandora stations but somehow let other music in and now have Imagine Dragons popping up on my Cadillac Sky station. Ugh.

I am currently craving pasta salad and chicken salad.  Also coke slushies.

I have grand plans of blogging regularly again starting next week. Someone please hold me to it.

Monkey has a new trick, but I'll share that with you another day.
