Weekend Rewind

Hello out there!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Why wouldn't you though with baseball returning and all?

I tried to get cheap tickets to the Blue Jackets game for Friday evening ($10 tickets that go on sale at 5 p.m. the day of the game), but failed because apparently the Blue Jackets are good right now and I'm thinking there were issues with the system as the message I was getting was wonky.  Instead we ended up at Pizza Cottage with the rest of my family before going over to Gypsy Joes (with the rest of Lancaster). BTW the now have donuts which are sometimes good and sometimes old.

Saturday morning C helped a lady at church move to her new apartment while the Monkey and I went to the grocery to buy food stuffs.  We also watched some Mickey Mouse (someone is OBSESSED), played with our sticker sheets (again, OBSESSED), and did other things that 20 month olds do.  We had a late lunch after the guys were done moving and watched some basketball.

I cooked a scrumdidliumptious dinner, but it turns out we were still stuffed from lunch. But not too stuffed to not get Gypsy Joe's after running to Lowes.

Yeah, we have a problem. Really, C has a problem.

Then we watched Louis CK before retiring to bed.

Ainsley woke up twice in the night.  Just feel like I should tell you because this has been out life of late - since mid-January (aside from a few days here and there of not waking at night).  Poor girl will wake up screaming in the middle of the night. Sometimes just once, but normally twice, and rarely three times. No, it's not night terrors, because she's wide awake when we go in and immediately comforted when we get there and immediately settles down.  I'm thinking anxiety.

Sunday morning we saw Uncle Mark off as he headed back to college (he stopped by to say goodbye pick up cookies) and then we headed to church.  The afternoon was spent cleaning the kitchen and trying to figure out how ants are getting in (a springtime problem we've had before). Everything has been rubbed with vinegar and Terro has been put out, so the suckers will soon die (I hope).  I made another run to the store and we ended up watching Baseball.

Also, I made a killer veggie pizza. So the weekend couldn't have gotten any better.
