The weather was warm and delightful. The Home and Garden Show at the fairgrounds...not so much.
I decided to turn the door to the basement into a chalkboard of sorts. Here's the kicker... I followed through. Saturday I picked up some chalkboard paint (but not what was recommended as Lowe's only carries one brand), taped off the inner panel, and went to town. In 36 hours Monkey and I will be ready to chalk our hearts out (she loves coloring on the chalkboard on the wall).
We bit the bullet and signed up for Netflix so we can watch House of Cards (and other stuffs too). Frank the BBQ guy is my favorite and Francis Underwood has me going in circles. One minute I love him, the next I'm not too sure. The turning point... his marital infidelity/fidelity. It's just so confusing. But I love it. But I don't. I just don't know. Help.
The last few mornings after getting the Monkey out of bed I ask her what she wants to do that day. Her newest answer is "swimming" and "pool". That's my girl.
I'm going to need to watch The West Wing to restore my faith in political fidelity.
Goat. Cheese. I am eating too much goat cheese. I was introduced to this by my mom and informed that it it was also available at Sam's (more bang for my goat cheese buck!).
Seriously though, I have a problem.
