a wordy wednesday

As per the usual, this post is going to be all over the place as random things jump from my mind to my hands to the keyboard to the screen.  It also appears to be in reverse chronological order.

I have now had Earth and All Stars stuck in my head for 6 days.  Surprisingly enough, I don't mind. C, on the other hand, has requested a new song.

As I said in yesterday's post, I went to the Melting Pot last night.  We laughed till we cried, ate a lot (but it took a long time to do so because the food is so small), and celebrated Cheryl's 50th birthday.

Obviously I'm loving the fondu.

(Sad that she spilled? No. Laughing till she cried.)

By the time we were on our way home I had a food baby that was so large that I had to undo my belt and top jean button.  When I got home C asked if we needed to go to McDonald's to get some filling food since I didn't really get to eat much at the Melting Pot.  C does not like the Melting Pot because there is too much work for for too little food.

While I was gone C hung my chalkboard!

Good news - I haven't been thinking about that former Cavs player much at all this week.  Thank you LC-MS Convention for giving me something else to focus on.

I was excited to see Big Papi win the Home Run Derby the other night.  I also enjoyed the first few innings of the Celebrity Softball Game. Also, I confessed to C that I'd like to be a celebrity so I can play in the softball game.  I was glad to see you don't have to be super famous to play.

The End.
