summer reading list

I'm trying to push myself a bit this summer (the rest of the year, really) and read books that I don't normally read (anything that isn't chick-lit), beacuase as it turns out, I like a lot of types of books. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to get all crazy and read fantasy books (no thank you, Twilight), but I like grown up novels and true stories (I'm told we call those "non-fiction").

So far I've read 21 books this year and of those some were for grown ups (and really good):

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine
Little Fires Everywhere
Educated

And in my current reading pile:

Where the Crawdads Sing
The Last Mrs. Parrish
The Overdue Life of Amy Byler
Burn Down the Ground
Evvie Drake Starts Over
The Flatshare
